My Research Interests

My research interests revolve around mesozooplankton ecology with particular emphasis on its phenology in the context of trophic interactions. In my research I use both traditional (nets) and high-resolution instruments (optical plankton counter).

My Objectives in CoastCarb

Zooplankton community (structure, distribution, functional traits) along the hydrographical gradient from the glacier fronts to the open ocean waters. Potential structure and role of the carbon and nutrient flux through the pelagic fields.
