My Research Interests

My research deals with natural and anthropogenic impacts on the marine environment. The current focus is on effects of fisheries, offshore wind farms, sand waves. I like to work at the interface of biogeochemistry, ecology, chemistry, and physics. Mechanistic modelling is an important part of my research. I am an active contributor to open source software (R packages), and open source data sets.

My Objectives in CoastCarb

Together with the co-leader of WP2, I am responsible for the modelling of trophic networks , benthic-pelagic coupling, and for spatial distribution modeling.
