My Research Interests

I am interested in researching pathways towards marine carbon sequestration as well as socio-economic dimensions of the same. Another research focus is on how discourses on sustainability across different knowledge realms can be captured and evaluated. With a background as marine oceanographer and experience in change management and systems thinking, this links for me to the question of how to assess the impact of science to society.

My Objectives in CoastCarb

I am part of WP5 - Ecosystem services, food security and public engagement, focusing on assessments of coastal and marine socio-ecological systems and their related human wellbeing, in which identifying social and economic interests and recent political developments in focal regions will be central.
