British Antarctic Survey
I investigate how physiological tolerance has evolved across latitudes and environments. I use this to understand what has determined current patterns, and what will constrain future patterns, of biodiversity. The aim of my research is to provide advice on the impacts of climate change that will allow policy and conservation to be targeted to maximize ecosystem protection.
Together with Doris Abele I am a leader of WP3 and a participant in WP4. My aims are to standardize protocols and procedures across the geographic range of CoastCarb, collating research in order to maximize the inferences that can be made, and to improve the predictive power of models.
