Around 40 CoastCarb participants from European partner institutions gathered for two days, 21-22 January 2020, for the kick-off meeting at the AWI in Bremerhaven. The aim of the meeting was to introduce the project, its work packages, aims, and objectives but also for participants to get to know each other and their institutions in order to plan first secondments, workshops and trainings as the project aims to exchange research staff between the participating institutions.
Next to the meeting, a poster session was organized to introduce all CoastCarb institutions and their research objectives. International partners from Chile, Argentina, US and Canada were also able to join, as the meeting was accessible via video conferencing.
